About

Taylor McManus is a painter born and raised in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Growing up on a coastal dune lake, he was deeply influenced by the vibrant sunsets, scenery, and crystal-clear waters along the Gulf of Mexico.

His earliest artistic training came from his grandmother, an avid painter from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Taylor attended Seaside Neighborhood School, where he studied art under Billie Gaffrey for three years, further cultivating his passion for painting.

At 13, he founded an art studio out of his home in Dune Allen Beach, selling his original works and developing his style across a range of mediums, including acrylic, glass, and oil. In college, he spent a summer painting at Parsons School of Design in New York City, where the energy of the city and its dynamic art scene further shaped his artistic perspective.

Taylor continues to explore the intersection of nature and abstraction in his work, drawing inspiration from both the serene landscapes of his hometown and the creative pulse of New York. He lives and works in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
